Perfect World International
I just came across this for the first time, and I have no idea what the game is like, but it says free to play and the graphics look brilliant for a free game:
http://www.perfectworld.com/ad
i'm downloading it now and will give it a try, if anyone knows more about it, then feel free to let me know more about the game
I found a review here, it looks good:

Ignore the other reviews... this is the best thing to happen to the MMO in a LONG time

It has a huge download though, 2.4 Gb, so it will be a while before I can start playing.
Found another review here:

It seems to be really good, I'm 70% done with the download

I played it for like three minutes before deciding the control scheme was utter shit. I simply can't tolerate a game that handles like that.
PRESS SPACEBAR LAUNCH INTO SPACE OMGOMG SUPERJUMP OMGOMG
Screw that shit.

Lol'd so hard on Faer's post
But its true, about the control scheme also.
UI is ugly.
Typical Asian MMO, at least at low levels. At high levels there are flying mounts and whatnot, but cant be bothered to grind.

I have been playing this game for about a week now with a friend of mine and here's of list of things I have experienced about Perfect World.
There is no targeting system that I have found beyond point and click. Meaning no c, no tab, just you and the mouse. Obviously, this can be daunting in smaller areas with lots to click on.
This game's aggro system is very different than what most Guild Wars players are used to, I'm not even quite sure how it works and I have not seen any sort of description of it either. Partys use tanks later on (lvl 19 and up) so it can be a little confusing for someone who is more used to a game where your "tank" profession is actually a high damage dealer.
There is a cash shop where you can buy certain things. Supposedly, you'll need to use the cash shop later on in the game (I think around lvl 60 or a bit sooner maybe) if you want to keep leveling up. Also keep in mind, there has been a lot of petitioning lately regarding the shop's prices on items. You can read up about it here. Said items can range from mounts to clothes to materials to a variety of other things.
There is no party search button or window to look for groups and to use World Chat, you must have a certain item from the cash shop in your inventory. So for most players, finding a group relies on a lot of local chat spam and a bit of luck.
Crafting can be daunting as there is a good chance to have your items break ...unless you use a certain item from the cash shop.
Another item in the cash shop are charms which can automatically refill your HP or MP if they fall below a certain percentage marker. This item is usable in PvP which can make it obviously imbalanced between those who use the cash shop and those who don't. (See what I'm getting at here?)
Parts of the game do seem to suffer from some design flaws in PvE such as monsters in a level 19 dungeon (called FB19 since players in PW tend to use the abbreviation of the Chinese term) can one shot a lvl 21 warrior into death even if that warrior has max armor for his level along with several buffs. Everyone has to go through these dungeons every 10 levels from 19 and above if they want to proceed in the storyline. However, each of the three races has their own version of each dungeon meaning the FB19 one player might need can and will be on the other side of the map from the FB19 that you might need.
Many of the quests and chains of quests involve kill counts such as the following example.
"Ok, before you can enter this dungeon, I need you to kill 30 wolves."
"Okay." *Goes and kills 30 wolves*
"Now I need you to kill 30 spiders."
"Okay." *Goes and kills 30 spiders*
"Now I need you to kill 20 Demonic Sporopods."
"Okay." *Goes and kills 20 Demonic Sporopods.*
"Now I need you to kill 100 tigers."
This can obviously be a very mind numbing experience for those who are used to the amount of lore you receive with GW's quests.
I guess that in the end, PW can be good just as any other F2P MMO if you have other people that you know playing along side of you and it can keep you entertained if you enjoy working towards leveling up to and beyond 100. From my P.O.V., after playing GW for roughly 3 years, it's too different than what I'm really used to and I have to now adapt or just try a different game. (One upcoming possibility)

Played for 1 hour or so... I don't see the difference between it and generic Asian F2P MMORPG.
